The Royal Palace of Rabat, also known as the Mechouar, is the primary official residence of the King of Morocco. While the palace itself is closed to the public, visitors can approach the grand gates and observe the ceremonial guards in traditional dress. The surrounding complex includes sprawling gardens, government buildings, and the historic Mechouar square. The gates are adorned with intricate brasswork and zellij tilework, offering a glimpse of Moroccan craftsmanship.
