The Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail is one of the few religious sites in Morocco open to non-Muslims. It houses the tomb of the Alaouite sultan who made Meknes his capital. Visitors enter through peaceful courtyards adorned with fountains and intricate tilework, leading to the inner chamber where the sultan's tomb lies beneath a carved cedar ceiling.
