Kotor Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the heart of Kotor's old town. Built in the 12th century on the site of an earlier church, it is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in the Adriatic. The cathedral features twin bell towers, a rose window, and a richly decorated interior with frescoes and a treasury containing relics and liturgical objects. Visitors can admire the marble altar, the 14th-century fresco fragments, and the serene cloister. Despite damage from earthquakes, the cathedral has been meticulously restored and remains a symbol of Kotor's enduring Catholic heritage.
