Vrmac is a mountain ridge separating the Bay of Kotor from the Tivat Bay, offering some of the best panoramic viewpoints in the region. Visitors can hike along well-marked trails that wind through fragrant Mediterranean scrub, past abandoned stone hamlets and terraced fields. The summit provides a stunning 360-degree vista of the twin bays, the surrounding mountains, and the Adriatic Sea. It's a quieter alternative to the more crowded Lovćen, perfect for a half-day escape into nature.

Don't miss

  • Reach the Vrmac summit for a 360° view of Kotor and Tivat bays
  • Explore the abandoned village of Gornji Stoliv along the trail
  • Walk the old Austro-Hungarian military road that crosses the ridge
