Perched on the summit of Mount Lovćen, the Mausoleum of Njegoš is both a sacred burial site and a breathtaking viewpoint. The tomb honors Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, whose remains were moved here in 1974. A dramatic tunnel and staircase lead to the domed chamber, where a 28-ton marble statue of Njegoš sits beneath a golden mosaic. Outside, the panoramic terrace reveals a stunning vista of the surrounding mountains, Lake Skadar, and the Adriatic Sea. The site combines spiritual reverence with natural beauty.
