Podmaine Monastery is a historic Orthodox monastery located in a peaceful valley just outside Budva. The complex includes two churches: the older Church of the Assumption, built in the 15th century, and the newer Church of the Holy Trinity. The monastery is known for its well-preserved frescoes, which depict scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin Mary. Visitors can explore the tranquil grounds, admire the architecture, and light a candle in the candlelit interior. The surrounding olive groves and gardens add to the serene atmosphere, offering a quiet retreat from the coastal crowds.
