The Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, also known as Monaco Cathedral, is the principal church of the Principality. Built in the late 19th century, it showcases a striking Romanesque-Byzantine style with white stone from La Turbie. Inside, the cathedral is serene and majestic, with a beautiful altarpiece and stained glass windows. It is most famous as the final resting place of Princess Grace (Grace Kelly) and Prince Rainier III. Their tombs are located in the choir, often adorned with fresh flowers. Visitors can attend Mass or simply explore the peaceful interior. The cathedral also hosts concerts during the Monaco International Organ Festival. Its location on the Rock of Monaco offers lovely sea views from the forecourt.
