Ik Kil is a breathtaking natural sinkhole, or cenote, with crystal-clear turquoise water about 85 feet deep. The cenote is open to the sky, with vines and roots dangling from the surrounding cliffs, creating a jungle oasis. Visitors can swim in the cool water, jump from a platform, or simply relax on the edge. It's a popular stop for those visiting Chichen Itza, offering a refreshing break from the heat. The site also includes a restaurant and changing facilities.
Don't miss
- Swim in the clear turquoise water surrounded by limestone walls
- Jump from the designated platform into the deep cenote
