Popped on for lunch with a colleague. This is another place where I would pay for the food out of my own pocket. It would probably be a date or a celebration, but I’d definitely visit again. The staff were super attentive. If you want to be left alone this might not be what you want, but I enjoyed it. The food was served quickly and was tasty. The churros were a highlight, whenever I have had them before (in the UK) they have been a non-event. They were fluffy and light and I’d love more of the same. The only bit I didn’t like was the palette cleansers of hibiscus, tamarind sweet, or orange covered in salt and pepper. We were supposed to take them between sips of mezcal… they were a taste I have yet to acquire. The setting was possibly the most unusual I have experienced for a while. The dining room has a huge screen across it, which projected seascapes, bathing the whole room in a blue mist. As strange as it sounds the toilets are worth visiting too as they are a hall of mirrors with carousel horses thrown in for good measure (and they are clean).
Was looking forward to this recommended restaurant, had a reservation for a large group. I ordered the ribeye medium well and it was brought to me as rare as can be. As soon as I showed them my concern they didn't acknowledge or even get a closer look at it. They proceeded to pull out a grill which only toughened the steak. All in all, they refused to correct it and charged me for a steak that was returned.
Service was awesome, food amazing and really good. the environment was so nice, enjoyed the music and dessert. I would definitely return.
I really hate gimmicky places. Our nieces saw this on Instagram and drag us here..... It looks ritzy as is located in the ritzy spot in Guadalajara, They do whole show with food menus and presentation..... I guess its how they get away with charging those prices..... Food was less then stellar, the place is beautiful....... but that's it..... drinks were gimmicky like everything else...... glad we came, but will never return. My brother and i droped the kids and went out to a great taco stand afterward for a fraction of what we paid here........
