The Bank of Mauritius Tower is a sleek, 26-story skyscraper that stands as a prominent landmark in the capital. Completed in 2006, its glass-and-steel facade reflects the city's modern aspirations. The building houses the headquarters of the Bank of Mauritius, the country's central bank, and is not open to the public except for the ground-floor banking hall. Visitors can admire its architecture from the surrounding streets, particularly from the Caudan Waterfront area, where it forms a striking backdrop. The tower is especially photogenic at sunset when the glass catches the golden light.
