According to tradition, the shrine originated from a miraculous event in the 19th century when a local woman heard the Virgin Mary's voice. The current basilica, built in the 1920s, features a striking neo-Romanesque facade, intricate marble work, and beautiful stained-glass windows. Inside, visitors can see the original chapel and a collection of ex-votos left by devotees. The serene countryside setting adds to the spiritual atmosphere, making it a place of reflection and awe.
