Ġgantija is a megalithic temple complex dating to the Neolithic era (c. 3600–3200 BC), making it one of the oldest free-standing structures on Earth. Located on the island of Gozo, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors can walk among the massive stone blocks, some weighing over 50 tons, and marvel at the sophisticated construction techniques of the ancient builders. The site includes two temples with a shared facade, offering a profound connection to prehistoric civilization.
