St Paul's Island, also known as Selmunett, is a rocky islet just off the coast of St Paul's Bay. According to tradition, it is the site where the Apostle Paul was shipwrecked in 60 AD, as described in the Acts of the Apostles. The island is uninhabited and accessible only by boat. A prominent bronze statue of St Paul, erected in 1845, stands on the island, visible from the mainland. Visitors often take boat trips to view the statue and the rugged coastline, reflecting on the island's biblical significance.
