St. Paul's Catacombs in Rabat are a vast network of underground tombs dating from the Roman period, used for both pagan and Christian burials. The site includes several hypogea with rock-cut chambers, alcoves for sarcophagi, and intricate frescoes. Visitors can explore the tunnels and see the unique architectural features like the agape tables used for funeral feasts. It's one of the best-preserved catacomb complexes in Malta.
