Upper Barrakka Gardens is a historic public garden on the upper tier of Valletta's bastions, renowned for its breathtaking views over the Grand Harbour. Originally a private garden for the Knights of St. John, it was opened to the public in the 19th century. The garden features elegant arches, fountains, and a collection of monuments and busts honoring notable figures. Visitors can enjoy the daily noon gun salute from the Saluting Battery below. The garden's elevated terrace is a prime spot for watching cruise ships and traditional Maltese boats (dghajjes) ply the harbor.
