The Islamic Centre in Malé is a modern architectural landmark that dominates the city's skyline. Its centerpiece is the Grand Friday Mosque, the largest mosque in the Maldives, capable of accommodating over 5,000 worshippers. The mosque's gleaming golden dome and towering minaret are visible from afar. Inside, the prayer hall is spacious and adorned with intricate Islamic calligraphy and chandeliers. The complex also includes a library, conference hall, and administrative offices.
