Putra Square is the ceremonial heart of Putrajaya, a vast open plaza that serves as the venue for national celebrations and events. The square's most prominent feature is the 95-meter-tall flagpole, one of the tallest in the world, flying the Malaysian flag. Surrounding the square are key government buildings, including the Prime Minister's Office (Perdana Putra) with its distinctive green dome, and the Putra Mosque nearby. The square is beautifully landscaped with manicured lawns, fountains, and geometric Islamic patterns in the paving. Visitors can walk across the plaza, take photos with the flagpole, and enjoy views of the lake and surrounding architecture.
