The Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge is a striking modern landmark that connects the city center to the Seberang Takir district across the Terengganu River. Completed in 2019, this cable-stayed bridge features a unique drawbridge mechanism that allows boats to pass through. Visitors can walk or cycle across the bridge, enjoying panoramic views of the river, the city skyline, and the distant South China Sea. The bridge is especially stunning at night when it is illuminated with colorful lights. A viewing deck on the bridge offers photo opportunities, and the surrounding area has parks and promenades for a leisurely stroll.
