Gaya Island is the largest of the five islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, covering about 15 square kilometers. Its interior is cloaked in dense tropical rainforest, crisscrossed by hiking trails that lead to viewpoints and secluded coves. The island's coastline is dotted with sandy beaches, including the popular Police Beach and the more remote Malohom Bay. Visitors can snorkel in the clear waters, kayak along the shore, or simply relax under the shade of casuarina trees. The island is also home to the luxurious Gaya Island Resort, which offers spa treatments and fine dining.
