Kek Lok Si is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, sprawling across a hillside in Air Itam. Visitors can explore ornate pavilions, prayer halls, and a seven-story pagoda that blends Chinese, Thai, and Burmese architectural styles. The highlight is the towering bronze statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, which stands at 36.5 meters tall. The temple is a vibrant pilgrimage site, especially during Chinese New Year when thousands of lanterns illuminate the grounds.
