The Ruins of Saint Paul's refers to the grand stone facade and staircase of what was once the Church of Mater Dei, built in the early 1600s. A fire in 1835 destroyed the rest of the church, leaving only the ornate facade, which blends Renaissance and Chinese motifs. Visitors can climb the steps to admire intricate carvings, including a bronze statue of the Virgin Mary and a Chinese dragon. The site also houses the Museum of Sacred Art and Crypt, offering insights into Macau's religious history. It's a must-see symbol of Macau's unique cultural fusion.
