The Pfaffenthal Panoramic Elevator is a modern glass elevator that connects the upper city (Ville Haute) with the lower Pfaffenthal district. Opened in 2016, it provides a quick and scenic descent (or ascent) of 71 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Alzette River valley, the Grund district, and the historic fortifications. The elevator ride itself is an experience, with floor-to-ceiling windows that make you feel like you're floating above the city. At the bottom, you can explore the picturesque Pfaffenthal neighborhood with its walking paths along the river. The elevator is a popular attraction for both tourists and locals, especially at sunset.
