Bollendorf-Pont is a picturesque German village situated on the banks of the Sauer River, directly opposite the Luxembourgish town of Bollendorf. The village takes its name from the bridge ('Pont' in Luxembourgish) that connects it to Luxembourg, making it a popular entry point for cross-border travelers. Visitors come to enjoy the tranquil riverside setting, with walking paths that follow the river and offer views of the surrounding hills and forests. The area is also a starting point for hikes into the Müllerthal region, known as 'Little Switzerland' for its rocky landscapes and waterfalls.
