Gafleispitz is a prominent mountain peak in Liechtenstein, offering some of the most rewarding hiking in the region. Located in the Rätikon range, the summit stands at over 2,000 meters and provides panoramic views of the Rhine Valley, the Swiss Alps, and the neighboring peaks of Austria. The hike to the top is challenging but well-marked, taking you through alpine meadows, rocky terrain, and past small mountain huts. Along the way, you'll encounter diverse flora and fauna, including edelweiss and marmots. The final ascent involves some scrambling, but the 360-degree view from the summit is worth the effort. On clear days, you can see as far as the Bernese Alps. It's a popular route for experienced hikers and mountaineers, and the sense of accomplishment at the top is immense. The trail is less crowded than some other peaks in the area, offering a peaceful connection with nature.
