The Sarcophagus of Eshmunazar II is a Phoenician marble sarcophagus dating to the 6th century BCE, discovered near Sidon. It is famous for its lengthy Phoenician inscription that details the king's lineage and a curse against anyone who disturbs his rest. While the original is displayed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, the site of its discovery in the royal necropolis of Sidon remains a landmark.
