Kfardebian is a municipality in the Keserwan District that includes the famous Mzaar ski resort as well as several historic villages like Kfardebian itself, Ouyoun, and others. The area is known for its well-preserved stone houses with red-tiled roofs, reflecting traditional Lebanese mountain architecture. During winter, the Mzaar slopes attract skiers and snowboarders from across the region, while in summer, visitors can explore hiking trails that connect the villages and offer views of the Sannine and Lebanon mountain ranges. Kfardebian's distinctive character lies in its integration of modern ski infrastructure with ancient village life, where centuries-old churches and monasteries sit alongside chairlifts and ski lodges.
