The Baalbek Stones are a collection of colossal stone blocks that form the foundation of the Roman temple complex in Baalbek, Lebanon. Visitors can see the famous Stone of the Pregnant Woman, weighing an estimated 1,000 tons, still lying in the quarry. The site also features the largest stone block ever moved by humans, the 1,650-ton Stone of the South, used in the Temple of Jupiter. These megaliths showcase incredible ancient engineering and remain a mystery as to how they were transported and placed.
