Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site and Museum is an important archaeological location on a hill overlooking Nakuru. Excavations have revealed evidence of human occupation from the Neolithic period (around 1000 BCE) through the Iron Age. The site includes a museum exhibiting pottery, tools, and skeletal remains, as well as preserved burial mounds and house floors. Visitors can walk the excavated areas and see the remains of stone structures. The site offers insight into early pastoralist communities and their way of life in the Rift Valley.
