Malindi Marine National Park, established in 1968, is one of Kenya's oldest marine parks, protecting a stunning underwater world of coral gardens, seagrass beds, and mangrove forests. Visitors can snorkel or dive among colorful reef fish, green sea turtles, and occasional dolphins, with clear, warm waters year-round. The park also offers glass-bottom boat tours for non-swimmers, and the nearby sandy beaches provide a relaxing contrast. Its proximity to Malindi town makes it an easy day trip for nature lovers.

Don't miss

  • Snorkel or dive at Coral Garden, a vibrant reef teeming with parrotfish, angelfish, and clownfish.
  • Spot green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles in their natural habitat.
  • Take a glass-bottom boat tour to see the reef without getting wet.
