The Tomb of Aaron is a sacred site perched on the summit of Mount Hor, near Petra. The current white-domed structure, built in the 14th century, is a pilgrimage destination for Jews, Christians, and Muslims who believe it marks the burial place of Aaron. The interior features a simple cenotaph draped in green cloth, with prayer rugs and inscriptions. The journey to the tomb involves a steep hike offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Arava Valley. It remains an active place of worship and reflection.
