The Siq is a natural geological fissure stretching about 1.2 kilometers, serving as the grand ceremonial approach to Petra. Its sheer walls, rising up to 80 meters, are lined with remnants of water channels, niches, and carvings. Walking through the cool, narrow corridor, you'll notice the changing colors of the sandstone and the occasional glimpse of Al-Khazneh at the far end. The experience is one of anticipation and awe, as the path slowly reveals the wonders of the Nabataean capital.
