Sha'ar HaGolan is a kibbutz museum in the Golan Heights, near Umm Qais, that displays remarkable Neolithic finds from the Yarmukian culture (circa 6400–6000 BCE). Excavations at the site uncovered a well-planned village with rectangular houses, elaborate pottery decorated with herringbone patterns, and unique human figurines. The museum offers an intimate look at daily life, art, and technology of these early farmers. Visitors can see reconstructed dwellings and original artifacts, providing a vivid window into prehistoric Jordan Valley life.
