Sankei-en is a sprawling Japanese garden that feels like a journey through time. Spread over 175,000 square meters, it features meticulously landscaped ponds, streams, and seasonal flowers, with over a dozen historic structures carefully relocated from Kyoto, Kamakura, and other parts of Japan. Visitors can explore a three-story pagoda, a tea house, and a farmhouse, all set against a backdrop of tranquil nature. The garden changes with the seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring to fiery autumn leaves, making each visit unique.

Don't miss

  • Stroll past the three-story pagoda, originally built in Kyoto in the 15th century.
  • Visit the Rinshunkaku villa, a former residence of a feudal lord, with exquisite architecture.
  • Enjoy a traditional tea ceremony at one of the garden's tea houses.
