The Kaiwo Maru, built in 1930, is a four-masted barque that served as a training vessel for Japanese merchant marine cadets. Now permanently docked in Toyama, this museum ship allows visitors to explore its decks, cabins, and engine room, all preserved in their original condition. Climb aboard to see the intricate rigging, the captain's quarters, and learn about life at sea during the early 20th century. The ship's towering masts and classic lines make it a striking landmark on the waterfront.
