✨ HighlightWe recently took a tour of Tokyo Tower on a beautiful sunny day, and while the experience had its highlights, it ultimately left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. The views from the observation deck were absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city that’s definitely worth seeing. Standing up there on a clear day is a treat, and we loved taking in the iconic skyline. One of the standout features for us was the glass floors that allowed us to look straight down and truly appreciate just how high up we were. It added an exhilarating element to the visit, perfect for those who enjoy a little thrill. However, aside from the views and the glass floors, we found the overall experience to be somewhat lacking. The exhibits and attractions within the tower didn’t feel as engaging or unique as we had hoped. There just wasn’t enough to keep our interest beyond the initial awe of the height. Overall, while Tokyo Tower is an iconic landmark and offers amazing views, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. We’d give it a solid 3 stars out of 5—worth a visit for the views, but perhaps not a must-do on your Tokyo itinerary.→

✨ HighlightThe service was excellent, and the restaurant was very accommodating of my girlfriend’s vegan dietary needs, which we really appreciated. The first three courses were fantastic, with some dishes being finished or prepared right at the table, adding an interactive and enjoyable touch. However, the remaining courses were unfortunately underwhelming. While there are many things the restaurant does well—especially the attentive service and creativity in the opening courses—for a 3 Michelin star restaurant, we had hoped for a higher level of consistency throughout the entire meal.→

✨ HighlightLovely little spot for brunch, offering delicately prepared dishes that, while rooted in staple Western flavors, feel light and refined. The shop itself is quite small and has become very popular, so I’d highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a spot! (Even though the reservation system is a bit annoying because it’s through tablecheck.com and you have to do a 1,000¥ deposit per person in case you cancel or don’t show up to your reservation. But showing up without a reservation can take a bit of waiting!)→

✨ HighlightPerfect place to indulge on Italian food served with Japanese produce. Ranks among one of the best Italian meals I have ever eaten. Also surprisingly light - was able to finish the entire tasting menu. Drink mark ups are steep to buy a La carte - you’re better off going with the wine pairing - or go to the bar at the top to buy a drink before moving on to the restaurant. Highly recommended overall - would likely return next time I’m in Tokyo. Need to book well in advance.→

✨ HighlightModern classic. A perfect marriage of japanese umami flavors and french technique. This winter menu showcased a subtle flavors with a precise cooking method. French wine pairing was beautifully executed thanks to Fujita-san, the sommelier. Wines were carefully chosen and the quality were excellent. Who would have thought that you could pair a Daikon with La Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er cru? Superb.→

✨ HighlightWonderful course meal with pleasant surprises. My only gripe with this place is the cheese / cream dish with the olive oil that is considered the “signature dish” is extremely overrated. It’s nothing mindblowing to be honest. But the asparagus, lamb, and fish were exceptional. Even the strawberry dessert was great. Honestly, I wouldn’t desperately try to dine here again but I’m content with how good this time was.→

✨ HighlightIt's one of my favorite restaurants, and have been there for several times since few years ago. Their iconic dish is smoked salmon, which is actually an appetizer. I love it more than any other dishes and order every times! Their bread was good this time, but they used to server a different type one, which I liked better... I tried to ask them what happened with it but they seemed don't even remember... Anyways I really enjoyed lunch there. One thing, it became harder to make a reservation for lunch but somebody may cancel. Don't give up even if it's a day before!→

✨ HighlightAn excellent meal. Every dish was quite impressive and distinct. The wine pairing was also nice. Each glass wasn’t an insane amount of wine which meant I was comfortably buzzed by the end of the meal. Portions wise I was also full by the end of the meal. Overall it was a great dining experience. The chef can speak English so he would explain things In Japanese followed by an English explanation afterwards which was much appreciated.→
