Each of us ordered our own pizza and shared. It’s super thin. We waited over 1 hr since it’s a one man show (cook, host, waiter, bus, take orders, etc). We never expected to find authentic pizza in Japan. Sauce, cheese, and dough makes the pizza excellent.
Great pizza but not the best I had. The chef ran out of prosciutto during lunch but the pizza I ended up getting was delicious! It was a one man show. When you get to the restaurant, there’s a paper for you to fill out your name and how many people are with you so make sure to fill it out. Restaurant is small and he goes at his own pace. You get your own water. It’s also a cash only establishment so come prepared!
We found this beautiful small restaurant last night for dinner via a google search. We knew it was something special when we saw a line of eager locals waiting in the rain. You put your name on the list outside. The food and hospitality was amazing. Get there early as you don’t want to miss out!
Holy hell this was good pizza. Simple and perfect as it should be. The two of us ordered 3 pizzas and stuffed our faces. We highly recommend the Margherita Classico. Although we didn’t speak much with the chef, he was whipping out pizzas, taking orders, taking payments, bussing tables and managing the queue out front completely solo. Mad respect to him for world class pizza and running his shop like a total pro. If we find ourselves in Osaka again we will absolutely be back. It was a pleasure dining here!
