Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is one of Japan's largest zoos, home to over 500 species including koalas, polar bears, and gorillas. The adjacent botanical garden features a greenhouse with tropical plants and seasonal flower displays. The highlight is the Higashiyama Sky Tower, a 134-meter observation deck with 360-degree views of Nagoya and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. The complex also includes a small amusement park with a Ferris wheel, making it a full-day family destination.
