Visitors can climb aboard retired steam, diesel, and electric trains, including a Shinkansen bullet train. The museum also features a working turntable and a miniature railway. Interactive simulators let you experience driving a train. The building itself, a designated Important Cultural Property, adds to the nostalgic atmosphere.
