Fujiyama is a steel hypercoaster at Fuji-Q Highland that held the record as the world's tallest roller coaster when it opened in 1996. The ride climbs a 79-meter lift hill, providing panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding landscape before plunging into a 70-meter drop at a 65-degree angle. The layout includes several airtime hills and a tunnel, but the experience is defined by its graceful, sweeping turns and the sense of speed. Despite its age, it remains a beloved attraction for its classic coaster feel and stunning scenery.
