Kawanabe Dam, located in the rural Minamikyushu area, is a picturesque flood-control dam surrounded by lush greenery. The site features a well-maintained park with walking trails that meander along the reservoir, offering serene views of the water and hills. During late March to early April, the park becomes a prime cherry blossom spot, with dozens of sakura trees lining the paths.
