Bōnotsuka Kofun is a keyhole-shaped burial mound that forms part of Inuyama's rich archaeological landscape. Like Higashinomiya, it dates from the Kofun period and offers visitors a chance to see a less-visited, authentic ancient tomb. The mound is set in a residential area, making it easily accessible. While smaller than some other kofun, its preservation and setting provide a direct link to the region's early history.
