Furano Station is the primary railway station in Furano City, located on the JR Nemuro Main Line. It is a modern, two-story building with a ticket office, waiting area, and tourist information center. From here, visitors can catch trains to Lavender Farm Station, Biei, and Sapporo. The station's location in central Furano makes it a convenient starting point for exploring the city's shops, restaurants, and the nearby Furano Ski Resort. In summer, the station square often hosts local markets selling fresh produce and crafts.
