Amanohashidate, meaning 'bridge of heaven,' is a 3.6-kilometer sandbar in Miyazu Bay, covered with about 6,700 pine trees. Visitors can walk or cycle the entire length, enjoying the unique perspective of the sandbar as a bridge connecting heaven and earth. The best view is from the surrounding mountains, particularly from the observatories on either side, where the sandbar appears as a dragon ascending to the sky. This natural wonder is a must-see for its serene beauty and cultural significance.
