Green Grotto Caves is a network of limestone caverns stretching over a mile, featuring stalactites, stalagmites, and two underground lakes. Guided tours take visitors through dimly lit chambers where bats roost and ancient Taino artifacts were found. The caves also served as a hiding place for escaped slaves and later as a venue for parties. The cool, echoing interior contrasts with Jamaica's tropical heat, making it a unique subterranean adventure.
