St. Paul's Cathedral, completed in 1985, is a masterpiece of modern religious architecture designed by Italian architect Aldo Spirito. Its most striking feature is the giant cross-shaped concrete structure that soars above the city, visible from afar. Inside, the cathedral is spacious and light-filled, with stained-glass windows depicting biblical scenes and Ivorian motifs. The building also houses a museum and a library. As the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Abidjan, it remains an active place of worship, hosting regular masses and concerts.
