Teodelapio is a monumental steel sculpture created by American artist Alexander Calder for the 1962 Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. Standing over 18 meters tall, it is one of Calder's largest stabiles and has become an iconic landmark at the northern entrance to the city. Its bold red color and abstract form contrast with the medieval architecture of Spoleto, symbolizing the fusion of modern art with ancient surroundings. Visitors can walk around the sculpture and appreciate its scale and engineering.
