Sorrento Cathedral, dedicated to Saints Philip and James, is the principal church of Sorrento. Its facade is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, with intricate stonework and a central rose window. The cathedral's bell tower, originally a watchtower, stands adjacent and features a clock. Inside, the cathedral boasts a nave with side chapels, a wooden ceiling, and artworks including a 15th-century polyptych. The cathedral is located in the historic center, near Piazza Tasso, making it easy to visit. It remains an active place of worship, and visitors can attend mass or simply admire the architecture. The adjacent Archbishop's Palace adds to the historical ambiance.
