Torre Rognosa is one of the most prominent towers in San Gimignano's historic skyline, standing at 51 meters tall. It is the second-highest tower after Torre Grossa. Climbing the tower rewards visitors with breathtaking 360-degree views of the medieval rooftops, the surrounding hills, and vineyards of Tuscany. The tower is part of the Palazzo dei Cortesi and retains its medieval character, with narrow stone stairs and small windows. The climb is steep but manageable, and the view from the top is well worth the effort. Unlike the more crowded Torre Grossa, Torre Rognosa offers a slightly quieter experience. It is a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
