Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi is a charming hilltop village perched on the Sorrentine Peninsula, about 5 kilometers from Positano. Its name means 'Saint Agatha on the Two Gulfs,' referring to its unique position overlooking both the Gulf of Naples to the north and the Gulf of Salerno to the south. The village is a peaceful retreat from the coastal crowds, with narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and a central piazza. The main attraction is the panoramic viewpoint at the Belvedere, offering sweeping vistas of the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the bays. Sant'Agata is also known for its local cuisine, especially the 'delizia al limone' dessert, and its proximity to the Path of the Gods hiking trail. Visitors can explore the 17th-century Church of Sant'Agata, enjoy a meal at a traditional trattoria, or simply soak in the serene ambiance.
