Via dell'Amore, or 'Lover's Lane,' is a scenic footpath carved into the cliffs between Riomaggiore and Manarola, two of the five Cinque Terre villages. Stretching about one kilometer, this paved trail offers breathtaking views of the Ligurian Sea, colorful villages, and terraced vineyards. The path is adorned with love locks, murals, and benches where couples can pause and enjoy the panorama. It's one of the most popular sections of the Cinque Terre hiking network, known for its easy walk and romantic atmosphere. The trail is illuminated at night, adding to its charm. However, it has been subject to closures due to landslides and maintenance, so checking current conditions is essential.
